This month, Gillian Higgins is holding “Meditation for Beginners” drop-in sessions at Cowdray Hall. Each session features different types of meditation and will address how to cultivate this life skill on a daily basis.
The sessions take place on Thursdays from 7-8pm at Cowdray Hall, Easebourne, West Sussex at a cost of £10 per session. There are two remaining sessions this term on 9th and 16th December.

Gillian is a criminal barrister, specialising in war crimes and crimes against humanity at an international level, having appeared before the International Criminal Court and the UN ad-hoc International Tribunals in The Hague and Tanzania. She has recently completed the accredited Meditation Teacher Training Programme with the British School of Meditation and has been meditating for the past 3 years. In September and October, she will also be delivering a series of “Meditation for Barristers” drop-in sessions, hosted by Gray’s Inn in London, as part of a wellbeing programme for the Bar.
